"I would like to let you know I appreciate the good care I got from you and your staff. I thought I was having cataract problems with my left eye. My vision was as if someone was pulling a window shade over it, and everything had a brownish tinge. When I stopped, it was Dr. Wallie’s day off. I told Linda, the optician, about my eye. She got Dr. Wallie. He came right out and asked me if he could dilate my eye right then and there. I said, “Sure.” He dilated my pupils and saw a problem. He kept me in the exam chair and called a friend and told him I needed a ride immediately to the Retina Center in Youngstown. Then, Dr. Wallie called the Retina Center and told them to expect me. As soon as I got to the Retina Center, they took me into the exam room. After the exam, they did immediate surgery for a detached retina. They told me that if I had waited a day or two, I would have been permanently blind in my left eye with no chance for repair.
Thanks to Dr. Wallie and his staff, I have full vision with my glasses. Dr. Wallie went out of his way and took his personal time to treat me.

Eyes 20/20 is locally owned and operated. We have been serving the residents of Newton Falls and surrounding areas since 2002. We are completely independent and not a part of any national or regional chain. We are happy to report that in a recent patient satisfaction survey our office received very high marks. We believe in full accountability and stand behind all of our products and services. Eyes 20/20 participates with a number of different insurance carriers.
